Prep Cell's main objective is to prepare the batch for job placements while improving their skills and developing competencies. The key Responsibilities of Prep Cell are as follows:
- Preparing and enhancing the junior batch for summer placements.
- Developing the junior batch's resume-building and group discussion competency.
- Improving the junior batch's interpersonal skills and fostering a learning culture.
- Monitoring and documenting the performance of the junior batch.

Events
Throughout the year, Prep Cell organizes the following activities for preparing the junior batch for summer placements:
- Mentorship: Junior batch students are assigned mentors from the prep cell, and these mentors guide each student on the resume and skill-building process
- Dossier Preparatory Sessions: Prep Cell organizes sessions conducted by various academic clubs to familiarize the junior batch with different domains of the MBA course.
- Resume Preparation: Junior batch is guided to get familiar with the resume format, associated content, and Dos and Don'ts of it
- Personal Interview: Mock interviews are taken to inculcate confidence and constructive feedback to the junior batch for their summer placements
- Group Discussions: Mock GDs are conducted to make the junior batch accustomed to the Group discussions and they are given suggestions on areas of improvement as part of the placement preparation process
- Warchest exercise: Warchest exercise is organized to make the junior batch aware of different industries of the market and roles available in those industries
