His journey began in September 2023 in Kolkata. While he and his fiancée were shopping for their wedding jewellery, a casual remark by the showroom owner about his background led to a light-hearted comment that he was an IIM MBA graduate. That moment became a turning point, inspiring him to turn that statement into reality by pursuing an MBA from IIM.

After marrying Juhi Kothari in December 2023, he expressed his aspiration to pursue an MBA from IIM Kashipur. She wholeheartedly supported his decision, even setting aside her own post-wedding plans. Following his entrance examination in January 2024 and interviews with Prof. Kunal Ganguly and Prof. Shivam Rai, he earned a place among the top 60 selected candidates.

The real challenge began in May 2024, as he balanced professional and personal responsibilities alongside a rigorous academic schedule of classes, assignments, and examinations. With work shifts running from 5:00 AM to 4:00 PM and late-night group projects, the journey was demanding. Throughout this phase, his spouse remained a constant pillar of support.

He takes pride in being the first master’s graduate among his thirteen cousins, marking a significant milestone for his family. Becoming a part of the IIM Kashipur alumni network is a matter of great honour for him.

He expresses his sincere gratitude to his life partner, respected faculty members, and fellow participants who supported him throughout this journey, which remains one of the most meaningful chapters of his life.
