Details

“There is no greater agony than bearing an untold story inside you.”

— Maya Angelou

Words hold within themselves immense power. The Literary Club at IIM Kashipur strives to be a beacon of ideas and a home for literary enthusiasts within the campus and serves as a platform for students to nourish and cultivate their eloquence. With a steadfast commitment to providing a plethora of avenues for exploration, the club ensures that the calendar is populated with a vibrant array of events.

From skilled debaters taking center stage to poets spilling their thoughts through ink to enjoyable games that liven the atmosphere, the club has something for every student with an idea to share. The club’s beloved flagship events – Abhivyakti, Shabdkosh, Du Coeur, Perspectives, Say it like Kabuliwala and the MBA1 VS MBA2 Debate – not only hone students’ communication skills but also foster an environment where healthy competition, fearless speech, and a like-minded community thrive.

In addition to being a forum for talent to flourish, these events are invaluable in terms of the networks, learnings, and of course, the enjoyment they offer.

We at The Literary Club firmly believe that ideas are the foundation of humanity, and the club’s door is always open to writers, readers, and anybody who understands the power of the quill.
