Yalgaar

Yalgaar is one of the most awaited events organised by the Cultural Committee of IIM Kashipur, where the boundaries between juniors and seniors blur, and sectional battles take centre stage. Students from each section join forces, setting aside senior-junior dynamics, to compete as one cohesive unit against other sections in a spirited contest of pride and glory.

This year, Yalgaar embraced the electrifying theme of the Multiverse of Superheroes, with each section representing a different universe of iconic heroes, all striving to claim the ultimate champion’s title. The event brought together imagination, teamwork, and a spirit of healthy competition.

The event features diverse competitions, including class decoration, graffiti, sectional rallies, flag making, singing, dancing, fashion shows, stand-up comedy, battle of punches, wheel of fortune, treasure hunts, and more. These activities provide a platform for students to showcase their talents across creative and performance domains while encouraging participation from those inclined towards varied extracurricular pursuits.

Kashipur Nights

As winter sets in, the Cultural Committee brings students together for a cozy evening of warmth, camaraderie, and sweet conversations. With a crackling fireplace and a soothing ambience, this event offers a perfect escape from the cold and foggy nights of Kashipur, creating memories to cherish amidst the winter chill.

Bollywood / Masquerade Night

The Bollywood/Masquerade Night at our college is a vibrant celebration filled with music, dance, and mystery. Students arrive in glamorous Bollywood-inspired outfits paired with elegant masks, creating a magical atmosphere.

The evening features energetic dance performances, a DJ playing popular Bollywood tracks, and fun games for the audience. Colorful decorations, dazzling lights, and enthusiastic participation make the event unforgettable, bringing together students to celebrate creativity, culture, and joy.

The Cultural Committee proudly embraces the institute's diversity, using it as an opportunity to honour and spread awareness about various regional cultures. The committee celebrates numerous festivals with fervour and unity, paying homage to India's rich heritage and traditions.

Signature Day is an emotional and cherished tradition at IIM Kashipur, where the entire senior batch comes together one last time to bid adieu to their memorable journey. This special day is filled with heartfelt moments as juniors and seniors share stories, laughter, and parting messages that capture the essence of their bond.

From signing mementoes to exchanging words of appreciation, Signature Day is a celebration of the camaraderie and memories built over the years. It’s not just a farewell; it’s a tribute to the legacy of the graduating batch, leaving behind a trail of inspiration and unforgettable moments for all.
