About Details

The Alumni Relations Committee (ARC) was formed to strengthen the bonds between alumni, students, and the institution. It acts as the sole platform to facilitate all forms of interaction with the members of our alumni network. The committee envisions developing, fostering, and building on our alumni network's significant industry exposure and expertise for institutional growth, as well as giving students the skills they need to be successful.
Our bi-annual newsletter SARATHI is aimed to help our alumni stay updated with the happenings in IIM Kashipur. The committee also perseveres to benefit the existing batches through a plethora of initiatives like the Alumni Mentorship Program, Al-Speak Guest Lecture series, Alumni Interaction Series, and Alumni Unplugged Podcast series.
ARC also manages the Alumni portal to enable our alumni to stay connected with their fellow alumni and embolden their association with their alma mater. The committee is currently working on many new initiatives including setting up an Alumni Association.

Activities conducted by the Alumni Relations Committee in the Year 2023-24

1. Al-Speak Series:  Al-Speak is an offline alumni guest lecture series initiative for the present students to make them industry-ready.
2. Alumni Interaction Series: Alumni Interaction Series is an online session initiative for students to interact with the alumni and learn about their journey.
3. Alumni Mentorship Program: In the Alumni Mentorship Program, students are mapped with our notable alumni based on similar professional interests. Our students benefit from one-on-one mentorship in terms of academic support, career guidance, and success in corporate case competitions.
4. Alumni Unplugged Series: The Alumni Unplugged series is a podcast series conducted with the alumni for a candid discussion on a wide array of topics.
5. City Meets: City Meets gives our alumni the chance to interact with one another in the cities where they are currently residing. Team ARC works diligently to connect with our alumni by facilitating and organising the meet in various cities.
6. Aluminati ’24-The Grand Reunion: ARC recently organized Aluminati 2024 – The Grand Reunion from January 19-20, marking a milestone in the institute's history by commemorating the graduation of 10+ batches. The event included Recapture, a felicitation ceremony for batches whose convocation was held online, along with activities like Green Reunion (sapling plantation), Sportsmania, and a Gala Lunch, providing a memorable experience for all the attendees. 
7. Virtual Reunion: The virtual reunions aim to enhance alumni connections with their alma mater and fellow batchmates, fostering nostalgia, promoting the exchange of ideas, and updating attendees on career advancements and college updates.
