All other personnel are working from home until further notice in compliance to the government directives on Nationwide Lockdown.
All classroom teaching has been migrated to virtual instruction. A number of academic works including proposal presentation, teaching and evaluation are being conducted through online mode using various technological aids and apps like Google Meet and GoToMeeting.

In response to the students’ request and uncertainties about reliable Internet connectivity in remotes areas, students are now permitted to take their examination online or offline according to their convenience.  The online exams are now underway.
The Institute has worked out an alternative schedule and plans to delay the start of Academic Year 2020–21 by around two weeks to allow the completion of summer internships by the 2019–2021 batch.  It has been decided to initiate the session for both first year and second year on 1st August  2020. Psychological Support to Students

The Institute has engaged with YourDOST, an online platform to connect the students with psychologists on 24X7 basis. YourDOST has a pool of experts across India to counsel and help the students whenever needed. Students, who may be experiencing any kind of stress, feeling low, depressed may get in touch with YourDOST any time through phone calls, emails or WhatsApp. The Institute is engaged with YourDOST informally from January and formally launched the service from February 2020 on a trial basis for three months, and will be continued if the usage is good and their support is found effective. So far, data for the last two months shows that the usage of the service has been high and students are extensively using the services, given the COVID-19 outbreak, lockdown environment, postponement and cancellation of some of the internships.
