Industry Workshop Goals

IIM Kashipur aims to achieve the following goals through the industry workshops: The industry workshops are present only in the second year of the EMBAA program. These provide the participants with a glimpse of the newest data-driven business practices being deployed in the industry and the economy through directed interactions with industry practitioners.

The Industry Workshops are intended:

• To ensure that participants are provided with sufficient exposure to connect classroom learning to best industry practices from different perspectives.
• Provide participants with a practical understanding of the latest developments in business analytics within different functional areas of the industry.
• Provide participants with a platform to share their internship experiences and benefit from mutual knowledge exchange.
• Apart from the usual credit courses (core courses, elective courses, and CIS), the participants had to study all three Industry Workshops in the second year of the program.
• The workshops shall comprise 12.5 hours and carry no credit.
