Biography

Dr. Jaykumar has three decades of work experience across corporate leadership and management academia, with over 20 years of industry experience in the semiconductor and telecommunications sector, alongside more than nine years dedicated to teaching and academic research. He holds a PhD (in the Strategy area) from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, a Master’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and an engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.

With twenty-one years of industry experience, Dr. Jaykumar has held key engineering and product management positions at Hughes Software Systems, Tektronix, and Texas Instruments. His work experience spans market strategy, financial analysis, investment evaluation, and investor and analyst relations.  He has also presented his research work in leading international annual AoM (Academy of Management) & AIB (Academy of International Business) conferences. His broad functional background—ranging from market strategy to investment evaluation—allows him to deliver a uniquely practice-oriented learning experience that integrates global business trends with academic research.
