ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

Indian Institute of Management Kashipur, in collaboration with the Earl V. Snyder Innovation Management Center, Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, New York, USA, proudly announces an “International Conference on Business & Management” driving “Innovation, Digital Transformation, Resilience, and AI” (ICBM 2026) under the aegis of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ – a developed, inclusive and self-reliant India. This International Conference will be held at IIM Kashipur Campus between June 12th -14th, 2026.

Digital Transformation, Innovation, Resilience, and AI have emerged as a pivotal force in reshaping industries, societies, economies, start-ups, e-commerce, and automation worldwide. This encompasses multifaceted goals aimed at propelling a nation into a realm of economic prosperity, social harmony, technological advancement, and sustainable development. This entails fostering a business and management environment that encourages entrepreneurship, innovation, and the leveraging of cutting-edge technologies, as well as investments across sectors on a larger scale. Technological Innovation, Digital transformation, Resilience, and AI have enhanced operational agility and flexibility, enabling businesses to respond swiftly to market changes and customer demands. It drives technological innovation across industries, spawning new business models and disrupting typical concepts.

Emerging technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), including Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, Blockchain Technology, Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Metaverse, etc., are transforming businesses, governance, industry, market, customer engagement, and daily life. Digital Transformation & Innovation also play a significant role in upskilling the labor force, reshaping R&D and educational ecosystems.

Start-ups and established companies alike harness emerging technologies to create groundbreaking products and services, challenging incumbents and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. Moreover, the advancement of smart manufacturing infrastructures, coupled with the large-scale integration of renewable energy systems, emerging technologies, resource optimizations, and advanced waste management frameworks, is increasingly driving future development by minimizing environmental externalities and enhancing long-term energy security in a sustainable and resilient manner.

REGISTRATION

Registration Fee Includes:
  • Access to the offline presenters only to all conference sessions, accommodation, food, events, and conference kit, including workshops.
  • IIM Kashipur will provide complimentary lodging arrangements for all conference participants from 11th June (afternoon) to 14th June 2026.
  • Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and refreshments will be provided during the conference (between 12th to 14th June 2026).
  • A nature excursion trip is planned during the conference.
  • Detailed registration and presentation information will be provided to authors of selected abstracts/extended abstracts.
  • All authors and co-authors (who want to join the Conference) must register themselves within a given deadline by paying a stipulated fee to the Accounts Department, IIM Kashipur. Conference kits and certificates will be provided to registered authors only.
  • Conference kits will be given to offline presenters and registered attendees only.
  • The fee once paid by the participants will not be refunded or reimbursed. The decision of the IIM Kashipur authority in this context will be final and binding.

Innovation, Digital Transformation, Resilience, and AI represent a paradigm shift that transcends technological adoption, empowering businesses to innovate, adapt, and thrive in an increasingly digital and AI-enabled world and ecosystem. It requires concerted efforts across sectors and active participation from all stakeholders, including academia, government, industry, civil society, and the general public. However, technological transformation for businesses is not without its challenges. Organizations must navigate different complexities and the technical skills gap to realize the full potential of digital technologies and need to focus on the creation of a technologically proficient talent base that can develop an inclusive and self-reliant India.

India is putting efforts to emerge as a global AI leader, emphasizing on inclusive growth through government initiatives (IndiaAI mission, Niti Aayog), driving adoption in health care, agriculture, and governance, leveraging its large tech talent, booming startup scene, and digital infrastructure to create local and customized solutions.   • All authors are requested to follow the following guidelines:
    • At the time of submission, the paper must not have been accepted for publication in any journal.
    • Extended Abstract should be no more than 2000 words (excluding references, figures, and tables), and should follow APA style referencing.
    • The first page of the manuscript must clearly highlight the authors details including email and contact numbers.
    • Papers are welcomed on any of the mentioned subthemes or related topics.

  • The extended deadline to submit an abstract is 10th March 2026, Tuesday. All abstracts received by the deadline date are deemed as original and final.

  • No, the conference organizers are responsible for lodging and boarding of all the conference presenters.

  • Registration fee includes conference kit, lodging, and boarding for the duration of the conference, and a Nature excursion trip for the paper presenters.
