Eligibility Criteria;
Candidates for the programme must have one of the following qualifications obtained from any of the universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of parliament or declared to be deemed as a university under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India, or an equivalent qualification from an institution approved by AICTE.

A master's degree in any discipline with at least 60% marks or equivalent grade point average.

A professional qualification - CA/ICWA/CS with graduation degree.
OR

4 years / 8 semester bachelor's degree (B.E./B. Tech./B. Arch. etc.) with at least 6.5 CGPA or equivalent percentage.
Work experience in industry or academics (in reputed organizations), though not mandatory, will be given due credit in the selection process. The work experience as full-time executives or as management teachers in an organization/institution of repute is only considered as the valid experience.
Those who are appearing for their final year examination in the current academic year may also apply. However, their admission to the programme, if selected, will be provisional subject to their successful completion of all requirements for completing the relevant degree before 30 June 2019 (a letter needs to be obtained by the FPM scholar from the Head of the concerned Institution to this effect) and compulsorily producing the degree completion certificates by 31st December 2019 (satisfying all the eligibility criteria). The provisional admission of any such scholar (if any) subsequently failing to conform to all the stipulated admission eligibility criteria by 31st December 2019 will be summarily terminated and no further correspondence will be entertained (monthly scholarship and any other applicable grant w.e.f. July 2019 for these candidates will be released only if they clear all eligibility criteria by 31st December 2019).

Selection Process;

The entire selection process focuses on comprehending an applicant's motivation and research capability. Interviews of shortlisted applicants allow the Institute to determine the candidates’ motivation for research. Candidates need to submit the relevant test scores along with application form. Only shortlisted applicants will be called for personal interview. The subsequent personal interview determines the academic preparation of the candidate for the specific area he/she has applied. An applicant can apply at most to two different areas of specialization.

The personal interview of all the qualifying candidates will be conducted at IIM Kashipur on 4th April 2019.
Special Drive for SC/ST Candidates:
IIM Kashipur invites applications from SC/ST candidates for a Special Drive to nurture them for future faculty positions in IIMs. Selected candidates under this drive will be provided additional opportunities and remuneration to work as teaching assistants during the program.

During the selection process on 4th April 2019 at IIM Kashipur, the prospective candidates can plan and arrange board and lodging at Kashipur on their own if they wish so. However, IIM Kashipur will help in the booking process for accommodation at Kashipur at concessional rates if the Institute admission department (contact: Dr Vinay K Sharma) is individually contacted though actual board and lodging cost will be borne by the prospective candidate.
